Source code coming soon.
HisarBlok will be published as open source: the core and every module in the box under AGPL-3.0-or-later. The public repository and a download package are not ready yet; we will announce them on this page when they are.
We are not giving a date. There is no download link, repository address or price on this page; we do not present something as if it existed.
Where things stand
Version 0.13.1
HisarBlok is in development and in use on our own sites: this one, kodhisar.com and ciciftp.com. Every release is applied to a trial copy first, then live.
Repository
The public repository has not opened yet. When it does, its address will be announced here and on the blog. Until then there is nothing to clone.
Release packages
Published packages will be signed with Ed25519; an installed HisarBlok unpacks only a package whose signature checks out. How updates work is in the docs.
Licence: AGPL-3.0-or-later
Use it, change it, run it, sell services on top of it. If you offer a modified HisarBlok to others over a network, the AGPL asks you to publish your changes too. That clause closes the gap of running a CMS on a server and selling it as a service without giving anything back.
Security features will never go behind a paid tier: two-factor authentication, the audit log, backups and sign-in limits stay in the free core.
Contributing
Once the repository is open, contributions are welcome. They will need a signed Contributor Licence Agreement (CLA); the copyright stays with the contributor. For bug reports or suggestions you can already write to us; please report security vulnerabilities directly to security@kodhisar.com.
Trying it now
If you would like to try HisarBlok for a site on your own server, write to us through the contact form. How installation works is in the installation guide.
